ANT-MAN 3 Writer Jeff Loveness Hired to Write AVENGERS: THE KANG DYNASTY for Marvel

This summer at San Diego Comic-Con, MCU Boss Kevin Feige rolled out a slate of films set to be released in the coming Phases. One surprise that fans got really pumped about was another Avengers outing titled Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, and we recently found out that Jeff Loveness, who recently wrote Ant-Man and Wasp: Quantumania, will write the pic. He has also previously written for Jimmy Kimmel Live! and the comedy series Miracle Workers and Rick and Morty.

Loveness joins Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), who was recently set as director on the project with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige producing.

Not much is known about the film quite yet, as it’s set for three years from now, but the big bad character at the center of it is the new super villain set to wreak havoc on the MCU, Kang the Conquer, played by Jonathan Majors. We were introduced to Kang when he first appeared at the end of Season 1 of Loki, and he is set to be a big presence in Ant-Man and Wasp: Quantumania, which Loveness just penned for Marvel. Loveness seems like the ideal choice to take on this next Avengers since he so well versed with the titular character that this team of Avengers has to go up against.

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is set to bow on May 2, 2025.
