ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Seems To Confirm a Popular AVENGERS 4 Fan Theory
There was a lot of great stuff to enjoy in Ant-Man and The Wasp. It was just such a freakin' fun film! It was laid back, told a great story, introduced to some interesting new characters, and even took us deep into the Quantum Realm.
Fans, like myself, have theorized that the Quantum Realm would play an important part of Avengers 4 and how it might be used to undo what Thanos did in Avengers: Infinity War. If you haven't seen Ant-Man and The Wasp yet, you might want to skip this for now because I do talk about one of the post-credits scenes in the film.
If you saw the film, I'm sure you noticed that there was a lot of talk about time. I've felt that the Quantum Realm would factor into a time-travel element that would be used in Avengers 4, and that was teased a couple times in the movie.
One of them was during the post-credits scene when Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) warns Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) to be careful that he doesn't "get sucked into a time vortex" as he's about to enter the Quantum Realm. There was also an earlier comment made about "time being weird" in the Quantum Realm. This strongly implies that time will be played with in the Quantum Realm in Avengers 4.
However, there are several different ways that time can be played with. It may be more complicated than just time travel. There may be other ways that they play with time, maybe even splitting things up into a possible multiverse, which would be insanely cool!
After watching Ant-Man and The Wasp I'm convinced time will definitely factor into Avengers 4. What are your theories on how it might be utilized?
