Anthony Mackie Closes Deal To Return as Sam Wilson in Marvel's CAPTAIN AMERICA 4

Anthony Mackie is officially set to reprise his role as Sam Wilson in Marvel’s Captain America 4. He just closed his deal with Disney to once again wield the shield after taking on the mantle of Captain America in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier series.

There are no details on what the next Captain America story will involve or if Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes will be a part of it. But, I’m excited about seeing Sam Wilson’s story continue as he embarks on his journey as Captain America.

Captain America 4 is currently being written by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier head writer and creator Malcolm Spellman, along with series staff writer Dalan Musson. There’s currently no director attached to the project yet.
