Anthony Michael Hall Joins The Cast of RIVERDALE For a BREAKFAST CLUB-Inspired Flashback Episode
Riverdale Season 3 will include a flashback episode called "The Midnight Club", which will be based loosely on the John Hughes classic The Breakfast Club. To take this episode to a whole new level of radness, Anthony Michael Hall has been cast in the episode!
In the episode, the audience will learn some dark secrets from when the adult characters were high school students. Anthony Michael Hall will take on the role Principal Featherhead, the longstanding principal at Riverdale High who ends up getting caught up in the game the teenagers are playing in an unexpected way.
There's also some fun promo art that was released showing Hall in the role of Principal Featherhead as well as high school yearbook photos of the adult actors as teenagers.
As far as the cast goes for the younger version of the adult characters, Lili Reinhart is playing a younger version of Alice Cooper (Madchen Amick), Cole Sprouse is playing a young F.P. Jones (Skeet Ulrich), Camila Mendes is playing a young Hermione Lodge (Marisol Nichols), Madeleine Petsch is playing a young Penelope Blossom (Nathalie Boltt), and KJ Apa is playing a young Fred Andrews (Luke Perry).
"The Midnight Club" episode of Riverdale will air Wednesday, November 7th, 2018 on The CW.
