Anxiety Induing Video of Spelunkers Exploring a Cave When The Light Goes Out

My brothers and I do a lot of cave exploration for fun and we’ve found ourselves in some pretty intense and stressful situations. At one point my brother’s light went out on him while he was standing over a giant pit. Luckily I was there with my light to help him out of the situation. But, he had a moment of sheer terror.

Anyway, I’ve got a video here of spelunking brothers James and Edward of the ActionAdventureTwins who found and explored an underground cave. As one of them is exploring ahead alone, his headlamp suddenly goes out and he’s in complete darkness. The video came with the note:

Don’t ever go caving without other sources of light or this will happen

It gets insanely dark in these caves, the darkest of darks, and when the lights go out, even if you turn them off on purpose, the anxiety explodes! It’s like you can feel the darkness. It’s crazy. It’s also pretty wild that these guys had to find their way back out of the cave in complete darkness. Crazy!
