Apparently It Takes A Long Time To Remove Henry Cavill's Moustache From JUSTICE LEAGUE

In perhaps the most serious hilarious problem in film in 2017, Henry Cavill's mustache is going to be a nightmare for Justice League reshoots. VFX expert Dave Fleet explains to Business Insider exactly what goes into the process in the quote below:

"If we were to remove a beard [or mustache], we would have to digitally re-build the actor's face behind the hair mass," he said. "We would need to build a 3D model of the face and then shade the surface of the skin to look realistic. We would then need to track the 3D model to the movement of his head and potentially re-animate his mouth. The amount of lip animation would depend on how much of the original beard occluded his lips. We would need to paint out the parts of the beard that extend beyond his shaven face."

You'd think we would've progressed technology enough for this to be a no big deal kind of situation, but apparently, it's going to take around 6 weeks of editing per 1 minute of film that Cavill has to reshoot. That's absolute insanity, but with Cavill currently also filming Mission Impossible 6, he can't just shave it off. It really makes you question how long it took Cavill to grow that stache if he can't spark up another bad boy in a week or so. I'm sure this is a lesson no one will be forgetting anytime soon.
