Apple Acquires George Clooney and Brad Pitt's New Film

We recently learned that Spider-Man director Jon Watts was developing a new film project as writer and director with Brad Pitt and George Clooney set to star. There was a heated bidding battle for movie with several studios and streaming services. Well, it looks like Apple beat them all out and snatched up the project.

Lionsgate, Sony, Netflix, Universal, Amazon, Annapurna Pictures, and Warner Bros. were all also trying to get their hands on the film. Under the agreement that was made with Apple, the film will get a theatrical release.

There’s still not much known about the movie, but what we do know is that it will focus on “two lone-wolf fixers who are assigned to the same job.”

Pitt and Clooney have worked together a few times over the years, but their best known projects are the Ocean’s 11 films. It’ll be fun to see them back together on the big screen, and I’m looking forward to seeing what this movie ends up being.
