Apple TV+ has released a trailer and poster for their upcoming film Palmer, starring Justin Timberlake. The drama looks like an emotional story that will break our hearts, hopefully before delivering a happy ending. The movie is directed by actor and filmmaker Fisher Stevens, from a script by Cheryl Guerriero. Timberlake is joined in the cast by June Squibb, Juno Temple, Alisha Wainwright, Dean Winters, and Ryder Allen.

Here’s the synopsis:

Family is who you make it. After 12 years in prison, former high school football star Eddie Palmer (Justin Timberlake) returns home to put his life back together—and forms an unlikely bond with Sam, an outcast boy from a troubled home. But Eddie's past threatens to ruin his new life and family.
