AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM Casts Actors to Play Stingray, Karshon, and Atlan
Director James Wan has cast four more actors for his DC film project Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Jani Zhao (Kingdom.), Indya Moore (Pose), and Vincent Regan (300) will join the movie, and Randall Park is also set to reprise his role from the first film.
Zhao is set to take on a new character named Stingray. This is an original character created for the film, and there’s no word on if the character is a villain or a hero.
Moore is taking on the role of longtime DC character Karshon, a mutated shark. After being exposed to radiation, the shark gained intelligence and telepathic powers.
Regan is playing Atlan, the ancient ruler of Atlantis who caused the city to sink into the sea. This character briefly appeared in the first Aquaman movie and was played by Graham McTavish.
Park will return to reprise his role as Dr. Stephen Shin, a marine biologist who in the comics was obsessed with finding the location of Atlantis.
They will join Jason Momoa who will be back as Aquaman, Patrick Wilson as Orm, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Amber Heard as Mera, and Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus.
The movie is set to be released on December 16th, 2022.
