AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM Test Screenings Have Reportedly Been Terrible

Warner Bros. has been holding test screenings for its upcoming Aquaman sequel, Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom, and word is getting out that the movie is terrible. I hate hearing this news, not because I like Aquaman, but because I like its director James Wan. He’s a great filmmaker, so it sucks to learn that his second Aquaman movie isn’t going to be that good either.

Big Screen Leaks and entertainment reporter Jeff Sneider backed up an initial report that suggested Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom held half a dozen test screenings, all of which had very bad results.

According to the report, the studio is purposely avoiding answering questions about the movie because "test screenings for this film have not been good," while also claiming to hear "something that almost never happened in test screenings happened with this movie."

Sneider followed up those comments by saying that the movie is so bad, it’s the reason why Jason Momoa wants to jump into a Lobo movie.

Maybe Warner Bros. and James Wan will be able to fix it and turn it into a movie that’s not so terrible. If this movie does end up being as bad as is being reported, I guess James Gunn and Peter Safran will eventually reboot Aquaman at some point down the line.
