ARCHER Season 11 Gets a Funny Trailer, September Premiere Date, and Comic-Con@Home Panel
FXX has released the first trailer for Archer Season 11 and they’ve set the premiere date for September 16th! Fans of the series are going to enjoy what this trailer has to offer and I’m excited to see how the series continues to play out now that Sterling Archer has come out of his coma.
It was also announced during the Archer Comic-Con@Home panel that Jamie Lee Curtis and Simon Pegg will be coming to the series as guest stars!
Archer follows Archer and his return to the spy world after a three-year coma. “While many things changed during his absence, Archer is confident it will take just a little time for him to reset things back to the old ways. The problem: does the rest of the team want that? Everyone else has been doing pretty well and may not be ready for his return to throw a wrench in their well-oiled machine.”
Season 11 will also be the first season to move forward without creator Adam Reed serving as full-time showrunner. He is executive producing the series alongside Willis and Matt Thompson.
The voice cast for Archer will all return for Season 11, and that cast includes H. Jon Benjamin as Sterling Archer, Aisha Tyler as Lana Kane, Jessica Walter as Archer’s mother and spymaster Malory Archer, Judy Greer as Cheryl/Carol Tunt, Chris Parnell as Cyril Figgis, Amber Nash as Pam Poovey, Adam Reed as Ray Gillette, and Lucky Yates as Algernop Krieger.
The eight-episode season will premiere with two new episodes airing back-to-back at 10 PM and 10:30 PM ET/PT on FXX.
