Are the THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS Posters AI Generated? Marvel Says No
Marvel has released four new posters from the upcoming highly anticipated The Fantastic Four: First Steps. They are all beautiful, and look very stylized in the 1960s retro-futuristic colors and vibe that the film is going for. But some eagle-eyed fans are pointing out that they think at least one of the images is possibly AI-generated.
Users flooded social media platforms like X and Bluesky with posts singling out each of the poster’s strange details and accusing Marvel of using AI to create the promotional art instead of hiring human artists.
Despite what many suspected, though, a Marvel spokesperson confirmed to TheWrap that AI was not used in the creation of these posters.

I don’t think the poster in question is super clear, but it also doesn’t have the type of mistakes we can clearly see in known AI-generated images.
I guess that means it’s not AI, or the tech has gotten good enough for us to have a hard time telling the difference. Check out the new posters below, with number one being the one fans are most interested in.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is set to hit theaters on July 25th. Check out the poster in question below and let us know what you think.
