Ariana Grande Joins Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, and Sarah Paulson in AMERICAN HORROR STORY Season 13 Reunion

American Horror Story Season 13 is shaping up to be one of the most star-studded chapters the long-running anthology has seen in years. FX’s hit horror franchise is pulling out all the stops, bringing back some of its biggest names, and adding a major pop icon to the mix.

I personally don’t know anyone who is actually still watching this show, but Ariana Grande has officially joined the cast, reuniting with creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk for the first time since their short-lived horror comedy Scream Queens a decade ago.

Grande starred alongside Emma Roberts and Billie Lourd in that series, and both of them are also returning for AHS Season 13.

The announcement came directly from the Ryan Murphy Productions Instagram page, which dropped a teaser video featuring a black screen with cast names displayed in the show’s signature blood-red font while Vera Lynn’s “I’ll Be Seeing You” played in the background.

Alongside Grande, Season 13 will see the return of American Horror Story legends Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, and Leslie Grossman.

Lange hasn’t appeared in AHS since Season 8’s Apocalypse in 2018. Bassett, Bates, and Sidibe also haven’t been part of the show since that same season, while Peters and Paulson were last seen in Season 10’s Double Feature in 2021.

With so many familiar faces returning, it makes me wonder of the show will revisit one of the show’s earlier storylines, possibly from Season 3’s Coven. American Horror Story has done this before, most notably with Apocalypse, which served as a crossover between Coven, Season 1’s Murder House, and Season 5’s Hotel.

Whether you’ve stayed loyal through every twisted chapter or drifted away after the early seasons, this reunion of franchise heavyweights might be enough to lure even the most lapsed fans back into the fold.
