ARKWORLD is a New Archeopunk Comic From Josh Blaylock Coming in Spring 2020

Over the weekend at AlienCon Dallas, Devil’s Due Comics announced a new series called ArkWorld. This series will feature 48-page comics in a genre being dubbed “archeopunk.” This genre blends sci-fi, fantasy, archaeology, and ancient technology that may be influenced by aliens. Sounds pretty interesting if you ask me. ArkWorld is being written by Josh Blaylock with Travis Hymel joining him as illustrator. Describing the series, Blaylock said:

The story is set partly in the present, partly in what we know as the paleolithic era, and much, much earlier. It takes the premise that everything we’ve been told about history prior to 5000 BC — that civilization only began 6000 to 7000 years ago — was wrong.

You can pick up a free copy of the preview comic on the official Archeopunk website. ArkWorld Vol. 1 will be available in Spring 2020 with Vol. 2 set for Winter 2020 and Vol. 3 to follow in Spring 2021. You can see the main and several variant covers for Volume 1 below.
