A new series titled Arlington Road is in development at Paramount+. The series will be inspired by the 1999 movie of the same name, and the film’s director, Mark Pellington, is on board to direct the series as well. The Alienist co-executive producer Seth Fisher is writing the TV series adaptation. CBS Studios and Village Roadshow Television are co-producing. Pellington and Fisher are executive-producing as well.

The 1999 film stars Jeff Bridges, Tim Robbins, Joan Cusack, and Hope Davis and tells the story of a widowed George Washington University professor who suspects his new neighbors are involved in terrorism and becomes obsessed with foiling their plot.

I remember seeing this movie in theaters and enjoying it. It’s been a long time since seeing it, but it seems like a story that would hold up, especially after making a few modernized updates. Do you think this sounds like a series you’d be interested in?
