Arnold Schwarzenegger Returning For TERMINATOR GENISYS Sequel

Devotees of Arnold Schwarzenegger were excited to hear that the former Governator would "be back" to play a cybernetic organism once again in Terminator 5, officially called Terminator Genisys. (Or is it Terminator: Genisys? Is there a colon in there? We have to know these things, Paramount!) And now, according to TheArnoldFans, Schwarzenegger says that he is actually coming back for another sequel after that, also.

They straight up asked him if he was returning for a sequel to Genisys, and he said, "Yes, of course, next year." If this were any other franchise, I'd be a little bummed that someone would confirm they'd be showing up in a sequel to a movie that hasn't come out yet, because that removes the possibility that they'll get killed off in a plot twist. But the Terminator mythology is already so convoluted (and looks to become even more so in Genisys, which sees an older Arnold fighting a younger version of his Terminator), that the writers can pretty much come up with any excuse they can to get Arnold to reprise his role and it will work in the context of this universe. He could be a new model, an older one that appears out of nowhere due to future time travel...the possibilities are endless in the world of sci-fi.

Terminator Genisys arrives in theaters on July 1st of this year, while the next sequel hits theaters on May 19th, 2017, and a follow-up to that movie arrives on June 19th, 2018. Are you happy to hear Schwarzenegger will be back yet again?
