Arnold Schwarzenegger Talks About the Height of His Feud With Sylvester Stallone and What Brought Them Together as Friends
Most fans know that actors Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone were embroiled in an old Hollywood feud that lasted for years, complete with competition for roles and a whole lot of crap talking, but the pair have since reconciled, and have even become very close friends, and Schwarzenegger has spoken out on the ordeal. In a recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show (via NME), Schwarzenegger admitted that the actors would compete against each other in their various action films and would attack each other in the press.
Schwarzenegger said:
“We were movie rivals, but we took the competitiveness to the extreme – we each had to have the best body, we had to kill more people in our films, and we had to have the biggest guns. It got out of control, and we tried to derail each other. Then, when we both invested in Planet Hollywood, we started flying around the world together to promote it and we became fantastic friends. He is a great human being, and we are now inseparable.”
It’s good that these two were able to put down their pride and actually see each other for who they are. They have a cute relationship now, and are both the better for it.
