Arnold Schwarzenegger's Spy Series Is Coming to Netflix
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s planned spy series has landed at Netflix for development. If I were Schwarzenegger, I’d be worried about setting up shop at Netflix! The series might not get past one season.
The series is described as a “global spy adventure with a father and daughter at the center of the story.” Monica Barbaro (Top Gun: Maverick) is set to play Schwarzenegger’s daughter in the show.
The series was created by Nick Santora and Skydance Television, and it will be the first regular TV role of Schwarzenegger’s career. It’s explained that the deal is still coming together, but it would be a script to series order should it close.
Santora will executive produce as part of his overall deal with Skydance TV. He is also attached as showrunner on Jack Reacher, which is set up at Amazon.
