ASH VS EVIL DEAD - Bruce Campbell Explains Why Fake Blood Is Evil

This weekend Starz released the full trailer for Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell's Ash Vs. Evil Dead. It first screened at Comic-Con, where Campbell and Raimi were at a panel to talk about the upcoming series. As much as Campbell enjoys playing the character of Ash in the Evil Dead franchise, there's one thing that he absolutely despises about it, and that's all the fake blood. He told fans:

"It’s gotten more sophisticated, but it still sucks. It’s still sticky; it still gets everywhere. It gets in every nook and cranny. It’s just, it’s evil. Fake blood is evil. I don’t use that word a lot."

This guy has had a lot of experiences with fake blood being poured all over him over the years, but I guess it's something that no one can really get used to. I've never been drenched in fake blood, but who knows, maybe one day I'll trying it out just for the hell of it! It great that he's willing to put himself through the torture of fake blood for the fans. That just shows how much he love us and the franchise.

In the next chapter of Ash's life, he teams up with two younger individuals named Pablo and Kelly to fight off the evil forces of the Deadites. When talking about them and the fake blood he said,

"They’re covered in blood and they don’t even know how bad it is. They haven’t learned yet how to be difficult. I’m waiting for Season 2 or 3, we’ll see."

Ash Vs. Evil Dead premieres Halloween night — October 31st — on Starz, and I can't wait to see all the blood splattery madness!
