At Long Last, a New Trailer for THE NEW MUTANTS Has Arrived
Director Josh Boone promised that a new trailer for The New Mutants would be released today, and it has arrived! A lot of fans have been curious about this Marvel mutant-themed horror movie, and it actually looks like it could be a great flick! I’m totally digging what this new trailer shows off. As you might imagine, the trailer shows off a lot of new footage that previously hasn’t been seen before.
I’m happy that Marvel Studios and Disney decided to release the film and that thy are releasing the cut that Boone originally intended to release. Here’s the new synopsis that was shared for the movie:
20th Century Fox in association with Marvel Entertainment presents “The New Mutants,” an original horror thriller set in an isolated hospital where a group of young mutants is being held for psychiatric monitoring. When strange occurrences begin to take place, both their new mutant abilities and their friendships will be tested as they battle to try and make it out alive.
It’s explained in the trailer that this place the mutants are in is not a hospital. It takes their greatest fear and makes them live through it until it kills them. That certainly doesn’t sound like fun!
The cast for the film includes Anya Taylor-Joy as Magik, Charlie Heaton as Cannonball, Maisie Williams as Wolfsbane, Henry Zaga as Sunspot, and Blu Hunt as fallen Mirage. New Mutants is still scheduled to be released in theaters on April 3rd, 2020. Watch the trailer and let us know what you think!
