ATTACK THE BLOCK Director Joe Cornish To Helm THE KID WHO WOULD BE KING

Director Joe Cornish hasn't directed a film since Attack The Block in 2011. He's finally developing a new film project and it's called The Kid Who Would Be King. I'm such a big fan of the alien invasion sci-fi film Attack The Block, which gave The Force Awakens star John Boyega his big break.

The Kid Who Would Be King is described as “a family fantasy action-adventure movie about a band of young kids embarking on an epic quest to thwart a Medieval menace.” So it basically sounds like The Goonies meets Game Of Thrones. I'm totally in!

This seems like an awesome project for Cornish to take on and I have no doubt that he'll deliver an incredibly entertaining film. Hopefully it turns out at least just as good as Attack The Block!

The information comes from the casting director of the film, Jessica Ronane, who posted an announcement on Twitter saying that they are currently casting kids from age 10 to 15. You can check it out below.
