Aubrey Plaza Joins Michael Caine in a New Film Called BEST SELLERS
Aubrey Plaza is set to star alongside the great Michael Caine in an upcoming film called Best Sellers, which is being helmed by first-time feature film director Lina Roessler.
The story follows “a has-been author, played by Caine, who is on a wild book tour with a young editor, Plaza, trying to save her father’s boutique publishing house. Caine’s miserable and sharp-witted author just wants to live out his days in peace with a bottle of scotch, a cigar and his orange Tabby cat, but Plaza’s hopeful editor pulls him out of his reclusion.”
This sounds like it’ll be a good character-driven film, and it’s based on an original screenplay written by Anthony Grieco. As a fan of both Plaza and Caine, I’m excited and interested in seeing them get to work together in this movie. I’m sure they’ll play very well off of each other.
