AVATAR: SEVEN HAVENS Producer Confirms Seasons 3 and 4 Are Already in Production
Fans of Avatar: Seven Havens have plenty to look forward to! The new animated sequel series has barely gotten started, and it’s already been confirmed for four seasons. Even better, production on Seasons 3 and 4 is already underway, meaning the creative team is well ahead of the game.
Avatar Studios announced the show's renewal during New York Comic Con 2026, shortly after the first three episodes premiered on Paramount+. While fans were excited to learn that two more seasons were coming, it turns out the cast and crew have already been working on those future chapters.
During an interview with ComicBook, executive producer Sehaj Sethi confirmed that the show's young stars, Saheli Khan, who voices Pavi, and Aishu Devan, who voices Nisha, are already involved in production on Seasons 3 and 4.
The series has actually been in development for three years, with Khan and Devan joining the project when they were just 10 and 11 years old. That’s a long time to keep a major secret, especially when you're playing characters connected to one of the biggest surprises in the Avatar franchise.
The two actresses revealed that they only recorded together in person once, and apparently, they had a little too much fun. “Only once, and it never happened again because we kept on talking the entire time,” Khan joked.
The young stars also described keeping the show's secrets under wraps for three years as “torture,” particularly the big reveal that Pavi and Nisha are twin Avatars.
When the conversation turned to what they wanted to see in future seasons, Sethi explained that the actresses couldn't exactly speculate about what's coming because they're already working on those episodes: “…so they already kind of know a bunch of what’s going to happen.”
Naturally, neither actress could reveal any major spoilers, but they did tease more “character development” and that “a lot of stuff happens” with Pavi and Nisha as their stories continue.
It's exciting to know that the show's future is already taking shape, especially with the creative team planning so far ahead. It also means fans might not have to deal with incredibly long gaps between seasons, although release dates for the upcoming chapters haven't been announced.
For now, Avatar: Seven Havens is just getting started. The first three episodes are available to stream on Paramount+, with Season 1, titled Book One: Survival, consisting of 13 episodes.
The previously announced second season, Book Two, will also feature 13 episodes and arrive at a later date. With two additional seasons now confirmed and already in production, there's a lot more of this new era of the Avatar universe on the way.
It's pretty cool to see Avatar Studios committing to Pavi and Nisha's story this early. The original Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra gave fans some fantastic characters and adventures, and it'll be interesting to see where this new generation of Avatars takes the franchise.
