AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER—IMBALANCE is Being Re-Released as an Omnibus

Back in 2019, Dark Horse and Nickelodeon released the three installments of Avatar: The Last Airbender—Imbalance. The story continued from the North and South story and saw the Gaang having to help find peace between benders and non-benders. Now, Dark Horse and Paramount have announced that all three parts will be gathered and re-released as an omnibus! Imbalance is written by Faith Erin Hicks with art by Peter Wartman, and colors by Adele Matera and Ryan Hill.

When Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Toph return to Earthen Fire Industries—the factory owned by Toph’s father—Aang is surprised when their arrival is met with a cold shoulder. As soon as the team is asked for help at a business council meeting, the reason for the slight becomes clear: a massive bender-versus-non-bender conflict has gripped the town and is threatening to turn violent. In order to heal the divide and save the town, Aang and the team will all face tough decisions about power and identity that could tear them apart.

You can pre-order your copy now from your local comic shops, local bookstores, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble with an MSRP of $24.99. The cover art is by Wartman and Matera. You’ll be able to read the Imbalance Omnibus on August 8 at bookstores and August 9 at comic shops.
