AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Confirmed To Deliver an Avengers vs. X-Men Battle
Avengers: Doomsday is gearing up to throw two of Marvel’s most iconic teams into direct conflict. This isn’t just another crossover designed to bring heroes together. It’s a high-stakes collision that puts the Avengers and the X-Men on opposite sides of a fight that looks impossible to avoid.

As for the clash of the Avengers and X-Men, we see footage of Mystique going head-to-head with Yelena Belova’s Black Widow, and Gambit throwing down with Shang-Chi. Both scenes are very cool!
This kind of showdown actually taps into a long-standing comic book tradition. Since the 1960s, superhero crossovers almost always kick off with a fight. The Avengers and the X-Men have never had a simple relationship in Marvel Comics.
They’ve teamed up, sure, but they’ve also gone to war more than once. The 2012 Avengers vs. X-Men event pushed that rivalry to its limit, delivering exactly the kind of matchups fans obsess over.
