AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Directors Tease New Costumes for the Film While Hinting at Iron Man/Doom Connection

The first big reveal about Avengers: Doomsday came at Comic-Con last year when the Russo Brothers came out on stage and revealed that the villainous Doctor Doom would be played by none other than Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr..

This was an exciting moment, and it got fans to thinking about how this could be explained. The directors have brushed off chatter about our heroes recognizing their former friend, stating that he will only be known as Doom in the coming film(s).

Now the Russos have posted a video to their social media via their production company AGBO Films, and it has people talking.

It features two employees doing a popular TikTok lip sync, and they are each wearing masks- one of Iron Man, and one of Doctor Doom. This could just be a nod to the fact that the same actor plays each character, or could it be a hint of something in the movie?

Also included in the background of the video is a sneak peek at the costumes for Sue Storm, Doctor Doom, and Franklin Richards.

It’s a lot to ponder on, and it will be interesting to see if the Russo Brothers drop any more hints soon. Check out the video below, and let us know what you think.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released on December 18, 2026.
