AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Set Photo Offers Our First Look at The Thing, U.S. Agent, and Falcon
A newly leaked behind-the-scenes photo has surfaced online from Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday, giving us our first actual glimpse at Ebon Moss-Bachrach suited up in his mo-cap gear as The Thing, alongside Danny Ramirez’s Falcon, and Wyatt Russell’s U.S. Agent.
It also features the foot of Letitia Wright’s Shuri. You just have to look closely at the bottom right corner and you’ll spot what looks like Black Panther’s foot, suggesting her presence in this ensemble of characters.
I’m not 100% sure where they are located, but it looks like maybe a spaceship like the Excelsior, the Fantastic Four’s ship teased during the Thunderbolts* post-credits scene, the one headed toward Earth-616.
The photo itself was posted to Instagram, apparently by a stealthy extra or crew member. It shows the costumed cast alongside director Anthony Russo.
Sure, it’s not a big reveal, but with Marvel Studios skipping San Diego Comic-Con this year, even a peek like this feels like a little win for fans.
Avengers: Doomsday stars Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Winston Duke, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Robert Downey Jr., Simu Liu, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, and Lewis Pullman all make the Avengers franchise debuts in the movie.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps leads Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn join them, as do X-Men franchise stars Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, and Deadpool & Wolverine star Channing Tatum.
The Russo Brothers direct the movie from a script by Stephen McFeely, with whom they previously collaborated on the Captain America and Avengers franchises.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released on December 18, 2026, with Avengers: Secret Wars scheduled to arrive on December 17, 2027.
