AVENGERS: ENDGAME Concern Put to Rest With the Assurance That 'Smart Hulk' Had a Plan

In the recent Reddit AMA featuring the Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, fans were able to ask a whole lot of questions about the recent film Avengers: Endgame. Some of the questions delved into the storyline a step deeper than some of us had thought into before. The following question was asked, regarding the first snap that was done by The Hulk.

Reddit user dwallace3099: People have expressed views that, in Endgame, those brought back by the snap could have died in accidents (like someone being brought back 100 ft in the air where a plane used to be). Is it possible that Hulk, when doing the snap, not only brought everyone back, but also brought them back in a safe place?

I hadn’t thought about that, but it makes sense that as the world has continued moving and shifting, some people’s previous locations would now be a dangerous place to materialize. In response to whether Bruce Banner’s Hulk was capable of making sure those people were safe, Feige responded and said:

Kevin Feige: We refer to the version of Hulk in Endgame as Smart Hulk. So, yes.

It’s got to be fun to be the final say on things like this, because even if it’s something Feige and the creators hadn’t considered before, he can decide then and there that as long as it all makes sense in the long run, he can answer to benefit the characters and the fans who love them. If they decided Hulk didn’t have control over that aspect of the snap, and those characters died all over again, that would just be another tortuous tragedy for the world to face, so I think Feige made the right call.

Had you thought about this issue before? What would you like to ask Feige if you had the chance?
