AVENGERS: ENDGAME Featured a Fun Nod To Marvel's Earth-616 Universe

Avengers: Endgame is sure to be loaded with all kinds of Easter Eggs and while fans dig through the film to find them all, I’ve got a fun little one that you may or may not have noticed.

This Easter egg features a clever nod to Marvel’s Earth-616 comic universe. This universe was established in the 80s and it represents the main universe where the majority of Marvel comic books take place. The iconic storylines also served as the inspiration for a lot of what we saw in the MCU.

Minor Spoilers for Avengers: Endgame ahead:

As you know, Ant-Man found himself stuck in the Quantum Realm at the end of Ant-Man and The Wasp, but he comes back, and when he does the world has changed.

When Lang reemerges its in a warehouse where the van that has all of the Quantum Realm equipment is housed. That van was put in a storage area labeled “616”.

This isn’t really a huge deal, but I know a lot of hardcore comic book fans will appreciate it, so I just thought I’d point it out.

I do have a question for you, though. Do you think the placement of 616 is meant to establish something for the audience or is it just there to pay homage?
