AVENGERS: ENDGAME Has Already Become Highest Selling Pre-Sale Title at Fandango After Only 24 Hours

We are but mere weeks from the end of the saga that is the first three phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It all began eleven years ago with Iron Man, and will conclude this month with the twenty-second film in the series, Avengers: Endgame.

While this series of superhero films has been unlike any other with its intertwining storylines, likable heroes, and plain old good storytelling and moviemaking, it has grown its viewership and fanbase with every film.

In the times we are living in, we are lucky enough to be able to buy tickets to the movies we want to see ahead of time, choose our seats even, and avoid the ridiculously long lines we used to have to endure, and fight over saved seats on opening nights.

Fandango and other pre-sale sites have made our lives that much easier, and have tracked the sales of these pre-sales at the same time. In the past, all the movies in the Star Wars saga have had the highest pre-sale numbers by far, but Fandango has reported that in just the first day, Endgame has topped the pre-sale charts. That’s pretty crazy! We still have three solid weeks! Here’s what Fandango had to say:

“Avengers: Endgame sales have exceeded all expectations and surpassed Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the previous record-holder, to become Fandango’s top-selling title in its first 24 hours of sales, and it accomplished that feat in only six hours,” Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis shared in a statement. “We’ve never seen anything like this – it’s truly a groundbreaking accomplishment – as fans simply cannot wait to see how this epic saga comes to a close.”

It’s true; everyone is pretty dang anxious to see how the aftermath of Infinity War can be rectified, and how this saga can come to a close and be wrapped up in a way that honors the story and characters involved. Plus, you don’t want that moment stolen from you because some jackass on your Facebook feed gave away the ending.
