AVENGERS: ENDGAME IMAX Featurette and Promo Art Offers a New Hi-Res Look at Captain America, Black Widow, and Clint Barton/Ronin
We’ve got a few cool new Avengers: Endgame goodies for you check out today. The first is a new featurette that focuses on the IMAX aspect of the film. It features directors Joe and Anthony Russo talking about how they used IMAX cameras to shoot the movie and what IMAX brings to the theatrical viewing experience.
The video also shows you the visual difference that the fans will see if they watch the movie in IMAX. Joe Russo explains:
"It just made sense to us that the grandest cinematic event in Marvel history should be executed in full IMAX. The level of ambition in these films is pretty high. We needed equipment that could help us fulfill that ambition. As filmmakers, it's an important and amazing tool for us. The way that it captures light. The way that it captures color. They are fantastic cameras. The chip is incredible. It's at a resolution that is unprecedented."
I’ve been a fan of IMAX for years and it’s always been my favorite movie-going experience.
The IMAX featurette isn’t all that I have for you, though! I also included a few pieces of promo art for action figure packaging that offers us a new look at Captain America, Black Widow, and Clint Barton wearing their space gear. There’s also some art that shows us Barton in his new Hawkeye/Ronin costume.
