AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Directors Considered Not Including a Post-Credits Scene in the Film

At this point, it's just expected that every Marvel film would have at least two post-credits at the end of the movie. I've actually wondered if that would be the case for Avengers: Infinity War considering the way it could end. During a recent interview with Radio Times, Joe and Anthony Russo they started talking about post-credits scenes were asked if they considered not including any in the film to which Anthony replied:

"It's hard to comment on that again because we don't want to speak to the experience too specifically."

Joe added:

"It's certainly something you consider, but it's like Ant said, we wrote a letter begging the fans not to spoil the movie for each other, so we don't want to spoil it for them."

Those are definitely frustratingly vague comments, but they did consider it. We still don't know if there will be any post-credits scenes. Usually, that information isn't treated as such a big secret. Knowing if there is going to be a post-credits scene or not isn't something that wouldn't ruin any story details. It should also be noted that the Russo's have said that Infinity War will not end on a cliffhanger and that Avengers 4 is going to be a separate movie that tells a separate story.

If the movie ends the way that the story in the comic ends, with Thanos snapping his fingers and destroying half of the universe, I imagine there won't be any need for a post-credits scene to hold on to that dramatic effect. But, I will still sit through the credits to make sure!

It would be a big surprise if there were no post-credits scenes, though, because we've been enjoying them from the very beginning!

Do you think Avengers: Infinity War will keep the tradition of post-credits scenes alive? Or do you think this is the movie that will break it?
