AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Enlists WALKING DEAD and BLACK PANTHER Star Danai Gurira
Walking Dead and Black Panther star Danai Gurira is set to star in Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War. She will reprise her role as Okoye from Black Panther, who is one of the ferocious female warriors who watch over and guard the royal family and King of Wakanda.
We got our first look at the Okoye in action in the trailer for Black Panther and it certainly looks like she's going to kick her fair share of ass in the film. We still don't know all the little details about her character, but it's obviously important enough to bring into the action of Infinity War.
She is obviously a trusted guard and advisor. After all, in the Black Panther trailer, she is standing alongside King T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) as Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis) is being interrogated by Everett Ross (Martin Freeman). It seems like something you'd only want to bring a trusted advisor to.
Looks like he'll also be bringing her along for the ride in Avengers: Infinity War. There are going to be so many freakin' characters in that film! I wonder how the Russo Bros. are going to juggle them all.
