AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Image Shows the Calm Before the Storm
Marvel’s next film, Avengers: Infinity War, has been in the works for years now (since The Avengers in 2012), and fans are anxiously awaiting its arrival this April. In the trailer, we get a look at a couple Avengers with the army of Wakanda charging into a battle. Now, thanks to Total Film, we have a better look at our heroes before the big charge.
In the picture, we get to see Captain America, Black Widow, Bucky, Black Panther, and the Wakandan army in anticipation of Thanos’ forces. I’m getting really excited for this movie, guys. Hopefully we’ll get that final trailer soon.
An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
The cast for the film includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olson, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan, Don Cheadle, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Pom Klementieff, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Sean Gunn, Tom Holland, Paul Rudd, and Josh Brolin.
The Anthony and Joe Russo-directed film is set to hit theaters on May 4, 2018.
