AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR is on Track For a $200 Million Domestic Opening!
I know this probably won't come as a surprise to many of you, but Avengers: Infinity War is said to be on track to explode at the box-office with a $175 to 200 million opening, and that's just counting the US box office. Those numbers could easily climb as we get closer to the release of the film.
It should be noted that this is an industry prediction, not one officially released by Disney. The mouse house is historically conservative with their projections. However, the current numbers are on par with the other big MCU movie openings that include:
- The Avengers - $207.4M
- Black Panther - $202M
- Avengers: Age of Ultron - $191.3M
- Captain America: Civil War - $179.1M
We all knew that Avengers: Infinity War was going to do very well at the box office. After all, every film MCU film that has been made has been leading up to this epic battle against Thanos as the heroes team up to try and stop him from collecting the Infinity Stones and destroying half the universe in an effort to balance out the universe.
