AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Trailer Screenshots and Detailed Break Down

Marvel unleashed the new trailer for Avengers: Infinity War recently and I know a lot of fans were completely blown away. I know I was! I've had a chance to watch the trailer several times over the past few hours and taking notes about what I'm seeing in the trailer. So, let's dig into the trailer! Below you'll find a bunch of screenshot along with some thoughts regarding some key moments.

The trailer open with a shot of New York City with a giant mysterious object lighting up the sky. I assume that this is the invading ship that we see floating over the city later on. Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), and War Machine (Don Cheadle) are all looking up at it.

Here Gamora (Zoe Saldana) is sharing details on Thanos is capable of if he gets his hands on all the Infinity Stones on Guardians of the Galaxy’s ship. She explains, "The entire time I knew him, he only ever had one goal—to wipe out half the universe. If he gets all the Infinity Stones, he can do it with the snap of his fingers, just like that." It looks like she's talking to Tony Stark (Robert Downy Jr.), but the shot of Stark is the Sanctum Sanctorum. I'm sure Gamora is actually talking to Thor in this scene.

As we can see in the shots of Thanos, as he is taking off his helmet, we see that he already has the Power Stone embedded in his gauntlet. It looks like he already paid Xandar a visit and took on the Nova Corps who were protecting the stone. This must be the moment that he meets Loki, because in the other image above we see him placing the  Space Stone in the guantlet.

Iron Man and Spider-Man (Tom Holland) race into action as the strange ring ship flying above New York City. I love Tony Starks rocket booster on his new Bleeding Edge armor. Tony goes on to say, "We’ve got one advantage—he’s coming to us."

Tony Stark details his plan, he says, "We have what Thanos wants, so that’s what we’ll use." In the process we see Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) revealing the Time Stone and Vision (Paul Bettany), who has the Mind Stone.

As we've learned Vision will be taken to Wakanda not only to try and keep him safe, but also to draw Thanos in to try and use it as a way to have the advantage and take him out. I imagine that's not going to go over very well.

Captain America (Chris Evans) greets King T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the rest of the Dora Milaje.  Black Widow, War Machine, Falcon (Anthony Mackie), and Bruce Banner accompany Cap. If you want to know how this scene plays out, you can click here.

Black Panther’s tech-genius Shuri (Letitia Wright) seems to be examining the tech behind Vision’s synthezoid body. I'm sure she's loving it.

It looks like maybe the Guardians of the Galaxy have arrived on Thanos' ship. I'm not quite sure what this is yet.

The look on Tony's face while Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) is trying to tell him he can come up with a better plan is hilarious! "Let’s talk about this plan of yours... I think it’s good, except, it sucks. So let me do the plan, and that way, it might be really good." He's like a 10-year-old kid. At one point it looks like Tony stares directly at the camera with a "Really!?" look.

This scene is set on Thanos' home planet Titan. I assume that the Guardians are led here and maybe it's here that they meet Iron Man and Spider-Man. Maybe they caught a ride to the planet on that big ship that was flying over New York City. Drax (Dave Bautista) also is in the scene. You can read some information on the planet that was previously revealed here.

The Wakandan army rides into battle, with Captain, T’Challa, Widow, Falcon, War Machine and Bruce Banner, who we know is in the Hulkbuster armor. If you want details on a scene involving that Hulkbuster armor, click here. But I will warn you, it's a spoiler.

As Thanos says, "The end is near", we see Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) and Groot (Vin Diesel) witness the awesomeness of Thor (Chris Hemsworth). Thor finds himself with a new cape and he brings down the lightning. I've heard that Thor will find himself on a journey to find a new weapon because Hela destroyed his hammer. That new weapon is said to be called Stormbreaker and it was teased in some concept art.

This looks like a Thanos flashback scene as he is seemingly taking Gamora from her home planet Zen-Whoberi. Maybe in the film, Thanos is the one who wipes all of her people out. Thanos goes on to say "When I’m done, half of humanity will still exist."

This scene is probably from early on in the film and takes place after the post credits scene in Thor: Ragnarok as Thanos’ attacks refugee ship filled with Asgardians. This where Loki will give Thanos the Tesseract, which houses the Space Stone. The Mad Titan crushes it to get the stone. He's also crushing Thor's head. I imagine this is all set before Thor ends up floating through space where he runs into the Guradinas.

We can also see Thanos’ henchmen, the Black Order all gathered together holding Loki captive. From left to right we have Proxima Midnight, Ebony Maw, Corvus Glaive, and Black Dwarf.

I wonder if Loki will survive this confrontation with Thanos.

There are then a bunch of action shots featuring a couple of major battles going on. One of them is in Wakanda which comes under attack from Thanos' Outriders forces. The other one is a battle against Thanos that takes place on Titan and he is fighting with some Guardians, Dr. Strange, Iron Man, and Spider-Man.

Here's were Doctor Strange is being tortured by Ebony Maw. If this aspect of the film stays true to the comics, Strange is being tortured for the locations of the remaining Infinity Stones. And he might just give them up. The Question is, will he be turned into a double agent working for Thanos? I hope not!

Things don't look like they are going well on Wakanda or Titan. The Outriders are kicking ass and even managed to take down the Hulkbuster. Then Iron Man looks completely defeated as Thanos tells him, "I hope they remember you." He then jumps at someone to land a devestating blow, presumably Iron Man.

We then get a brief intense clip of Captain America facing off with Thanos on Wakanda. He's only sporting the Power and Space Stone, what are the same Stones he had battling Iron Man and Spider-Man on Titan. I'm not sure if this takes place before or after the battle on Titan. I would think that the Wakanda confrontation takes place after so that he can get the Mind Stone. Thanos actually looks kind of impresses by Captain America's strength.

The trailer then ends on a light note with a scene between Spider-Man and Doctor Strange, which made me laugh. As Doctor Strange introduces himself to Peter as "Doctor Strange", Peter says, "Oh, so we're using our made up names..." That was great.

Are there any other things that you noticed from the trailer that I missed!? If so, please point them out!
