AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Will Feature a Thor and Star-Lord Team-Up That Will Bring a Comedic Element

With all of the characters that are being loaded in Avengers: Infinity War, we are going to see all kinds of different team-ups and partnerships in the group as they battle Thanos and The Black Order. We've seen a few of these team-ups teased in concept art that has been released and the footage that has been screened for fans. 

One team-ups we can look forward to seeing, though, that hasn't really been teased yet is one that involves Thor and Star-Lord! Apparently, they are going to bring a comedic dynamic to the story. In the footage that was screened at Comic-Con, it's hard to think there could be any humor in the film because it was just straight-up dire insanity! 

Co-director Joe Russo talked about the Thor and Star-Lord combination saying:

"You know what’s interesting is that because of the re-toning that Taika (Waititi) did with Thor 3 and the direction Thor is heading in as a character, he and Star-Lord were a very surprising combination and a very funny combination. So I’m excited for the audience to see the two of them together."

If he's excited for the audience to see these two characters together... I'm excited to see it! I love these two characters and the fact that their team up ended up being a surprising combination is exciting. 

We'll get to see them in action when Infinity War hits theaters on May 4th, 2018.
