AvengersCon in MS. MARVEL Could Very Well Become a Reality According to Kevin Feige
As we’ve seen in the trailers for Ms. Marvel, there’s a convention that now exists in the MCU called AvengersCon. When I saw this, I wondered if Marvel and Disney would actually ever attempt to bring this convention into the real world and make it a reality.
During a recent virtual press conference for Ms. Marvel, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and Head Writer Bisha K. Ali were asked if "AvengersCon could become a reality?", and they shared that they have actually talked about it. Feige said: "We were definitely talking about that on the set. We shot that right in the middle of covid protocols. So there hadn’t been a convention for a very long time, and it was very cathartic for all of us to see that,”
He went on to say: “It was very cathartic for all of us to see that and we were shooting Spider-Man: No Way Home on the stage right next door, the scene with the three Spideys. The crew from that movie kept sneaking over to see [AvengersCon]. I think that might be fun to do sometime. Yes."
Tom Holland even dropped in to check it out. So, who knows! Maybe one day Marvel will announce an official AvengersCon! It’s not hard to think that this would be something they would actually do, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
Would you be excited to see Marvel Studios and Disney launch AvengersCon?
