This next season will put a focus on two rival dojos who are fighting for the top Karate dojo in the city. Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso will continue their rivalry and as Daniel is looking to take down Cobrai Kai, Johnny will have John Creese help him grow the dojo and train his students. Daniel has a tough mission ahead of him because as you all know, Cobra Kai will never die.

As you’ll see, the new trailer is filled with all kinds of wonderful nostalgia. The trailer is also filled with a lot of crazy intensity! Just wait until you see what’s in store! They definitely raise the stakes this season!

The upcoming season will see the return of Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Tanner Buchanan (Johnny’s son Robby), Mary Mouser (Daniel’s daughter Samantha), Xolo Maridueña (Johnny’s student Miguel), Jacob Bertrand (Miguel’s friend Eli “Hawk” Moskowitz), and Martin Kove.

Cobra Kai takes place 34 years after the original film and follows a down-and-out Johnny Lawrence, who seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo, reigniting his rivalry with a now successful Daniel LaRusso, who has been struggling to maintain balance in his life without the guidance of his mentor, Mr. Miyagi. The show is about two men addressing past demons and present frustrations the only way they know how: through karate.

Cobra Kai may have won the battle, but the war has just begun. Watch Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso pick up where they left off in Season 1, and train a new generation in the way of karate. But will their past get in the way of what truly matters?
