Awesome Full Trailer For UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS Shows Selene as a Super Vampire
I don't know about you, but I'm pumped up about Kate Beckinsale's Underworld: Blood Wars! Screen Gems has released a new full trailer for the film which premiered at NYCC earlier today, and this looks like it's going to be a fun and kick-ass new chapter in the franchise. It offers a ton of new footage and reveals more of the storyline which sees Selene turn into a super vampire.
The next installment in the blockbuster franchise follows Vampire death dealer, Selene (Beckinsale) as she fends off brutal attacks from both the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her. With her only allies, David (Theo James) and his father Thomas (Charles Dance), she must stop the eternal war between Lycans and Vampires, even if it means she has to make the ultimate sacrifice.
Underworld: Blood Wars was directed by Anna Foerster (Criminal Minds, Outlander), who is also known for her cinematography work on films such as Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow, and White House Down.
Underworld: Blood Wars is set to be released in theaters on January 6, 2017.
