Awesome New Character Posters for STRANGER THINGS: TALES FROM '85 Reveal Newcomer Casting
A series of character posters has been released for the upcoming animated series Stranger Things: Tales From ‘85. They include the characters we know and love from the show - Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, Max, and newcomer Nikki Baxter.
In the series, Brooklyn Davey Norstedt voices Eleven, with Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Max, Luca Diaz as Mike, Elisha “EJ” Williams as Lucas, Braxton Quinney as Dustin, Ben Plessala as Will, Brett Gipson as Hopper, and Jeremy Jordan as Steve. Additional voice cast includes Odessa A’zion as Nikki Baxter, with Janeane Garofalo and Lou Diamond Phillips in undisclosed roles.
Showrunner Eric Robles on introducing Nikki Baxter to the world of Stranger Things as told to TUDUM: “Nikki is the audience’s eyes. She comes into this world completely new. She’s got her own issues that she’s been dealing with, and it’s these kids who step into her world in a sense.”
So when the chaos starts to unfold, “she’s got to figure things out with the kids because there’s no way that she could just walk away [from what she’s seen] and pretend like it never happened.”
The show’s synopsis reads: “Return to Hawkins with Stranger Things: Tales From ’85, an exciting new animated series from showrunner Eric Robles and executive producers the Duffer Brothers.
“In the winter of 1985, snow blankets the town and the horrors of the Upside Down are finally fading. Our heroes Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Max have settled back into a normal life of D&D, snowball fights, and quiet days.
“But beneath the ice, something terrifying has awakened. Could it be from the Upside Down? From the depths of Hawkins Lab? Or from somewhere else entirely? Our heroes must race to solve this mystery and save Hawkins in this new story set in the Stranger Things universe.
This sounds like it’s going to be a fun new chapter in the Stranger Things universe. Check out the character posters below, and watch Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 when it debuts on Netflix on April 23rd.
