Awesome New Story Details on Marvel's LOKI Series and It Sounds Kinda Like QUANTUM LEAP
For those of you wondering what Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ Loki series will entail, we’ve got some interesting new details to share with you thanks to THR.
Before we get into the details, I should let you know that the studio has hired Rick & Morty writer Michael Waldron to serve as the showrunner on the series, which seems like a great choice, especially if you’re a fan of Rick & Morty!
As far as the story details go, Tom Hiddleston is set to reprise his role regardless of being killed off in Avengers: Infinity War. That doesn’t really matter, though, because the series will take place all throughout the course of human history. Here are the details that were shared that expalin:
Sources say the show will follow Loki as the trickster and shapeshifter pops up throughout human history as unlikely influencer on historical events.
That’s certainly a cool and intriguing approach with a concept that comes from outside of the box. I love this idea, and it sounds a hell of a lot like the concept of the classic series Quantum Leap. Only instead of helping people, Loki is influencing historical events in a selfish manner that only serves his needs and desires.
This could be awesome! I also like that there will be a mix of fantasy elements with actual historical events. With a concept like this, they could fill the show with a good mix of comedy and drama, and Waldron will be perfect for it.
I can’t wait to see how this turns out! What do you all think about this concept for the series? Does it get you more excited for it?
