Stunning New Trailer for THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER
Another epic trailer has dropped for Amazon’s highly anticipated fantasy series The Lord of the Ring: The Rings of Power, which is based on the literary work of J.R.R. Tolkien. I’ve been blown away by everything that I’ve seen from this series! It looks like series creators and showrunners J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay have done something incredible here with this, and I hope that the show ends up being as great as it looks! The scope of the show is just so massive and it’s so visually awesome! This is such a beautiful-looking show! Damn… I’m excited about the show!
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power “is set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and will take viewers back to an era in which great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hung by the finest of threads, and the greatest villain that ever flowed from Tolkien's pen threatened to cover all the world in darkness. Beginning in a time of relative peace, the series follows an ensemble cast of characters, both familiar and new, as they confront the long-feared re-emergence of evil to Middle-earth. McKay previously said of the series, "The Second Age is the great unfilmed story in Tolkien's entire legendarium, with the forging of the rings and the Last Alliance, and we felt that that was the story that deserved to be told.”
The series is set to premiere on Prime Video on September 2, 2022.
