Thrilling New Trailer for THE MANDALORIAN Features Nick Nolte's Alien Character
Disney has released another trailer for The Mandalorian that reminds us the highly-anticipated Star Wars series is only one week away from being released! It offers up some awesome and exciting footage from the Jon Favreau series as Werner Herzog narrates it, and it also features Nick Nolte‘s alien character.
Fans are super excited about this series, and I can’t wait to finally be able to watch it! I’m pretty confident that this series will live up to our expectations. It just looks so damn good!
The series is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order and it follows “a lone Mandalorian gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy.” Here’s the synopsis:
After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
The series stars Pedro Pascal (Narcos) as the title character, Gina Carano (Deadpool) as Cara Dune, Carl Weathers (Predator) as Greef Carga, Omid Abtahi (American Gods) as Dr. Pershing, Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man), as well as Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow,and Taika Waititi as the voice of the droid IG-11.
Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels) is directing the first episode and serving as executive producer alongside Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson. Additional directors include Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones), Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), Bryce Dallas Howard (Solemates), and Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok).
The series is set to premiere on Disney+ on November 12th.
