Awesome Red-Band Trailer For John Hillcoat's Action Thriller TRIPLE 9
We've got an insane red-band trailer for John Hillcoat's upcoming action-thriller Triple 9. This movie looks flat-out awesome, and it has an impressive cast that includes Woody Harrelson, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Kate Winslet, Casey Affleck, Aaron Paul, Gal Gadot, and Anthony Mackie.
The story follows a crew of dirty cops who are "blackmailed by the Russian mob to execute a virtually impossible heist and the only way to pull it off is to manufacture a 999, police code for 'officer down.' Their plan is turned upside down when the unsuspecting rookie they set up to die foils the entire attack, triggering a breakneck action-packed finale tangled with double-crosses, greed and revenge."
Hillcoat is the same director who brought us the great film Lawless, and as you'll see in the trailer, Triple 9 promises to be a dark, gritty, cold-blooded, and hardcore film. It's absolute chaos, and I can't wait to see it!
The movie is scheduled to hit theaters February 19th, 2016.
