Awesome SPEED RACER Poster Art by Lyndon Willoughby Captures the Film’s Electric Energy
There’s something special about The Wachowski’s Speed Racer movie, which I believe is the best live-action adapttion of an anime, and this incredible poster art by artist Lyndon Willoughby absolutely nails the energy.
The film has always stood out as the rare adaptation that truly embraced the wild energy, vibrant color palette, and over-the-top spirit of its source material instead of watering it down.
This artwork channels that same DNA with bold neon streaks, stylized character portraits, and the sleek Mach 5 tearing through the composition like a shot of pure adrenaline.
I actually came across this piece at WonderCon at the Spoke Art booth, and there was no way I was walking away without it. I grabbed the foil variant, and man, it’s so damn awesome in person.
The standard version is a limited edition of 100 priced at $65, while the foil variant is even more exclusive with just 50 prints available for $95.
