Awkwafina to Join Dwayne Johnson in the Upcoming JUMANJI Sequel

Crazy Rich Asians co-star Awkwafina is in talks to join Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan in the upcoming Jumanji sequel.

There are no details on the the story for the sequel, but Jake Kasdan will return to direct the film from a script he wrote with Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner.

Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle followed a group of four teens who were transported into the world of Jumanji through a video game. There is speculation that the new sequel will focus on the characters from the game coming into the real world, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the story is once again set in the game.
