Baby Bruce Wayne and Lucius Fox Are Coming To PENNYWORTH Season 2
During the Pennyworth virtual panel at the DC FanDome event this weekend, some interesting new details were revealed regarding the upcoming second season.
It was revealed that Martha Kane is pregnant, which means baby Bruce Wayne is coming! It was also announced that DC character Lucius Fox would be joining the second season of the series. They still have yet to cast an actor in the role.
Pennyworth follows Bruce Wayne’s legendary butler, Alfred, a former British SAS soldier in his 20’s, who forms a security company and goes to work with a young billionaire, Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge) in 1960s London.
The panel featured Aldridge, Jack Bannon, Paloma Faith, and Emma Paetz, along with and executive producers Bruno Heller (Gotham, The Mentalist, Rome) and Danny Cannon (Gotham, CSI series) as they mostly discussed the first season and what to expect for Season 2.
Pennyworth season two also features the return of stars Hainsley Lloyd Bennett, Ryan Fletcher, Dorothy Atkinson, and Polly Walker, with multi-award-winning recording artist Paloma Faith and Jason Flemyng. It was previously announced that James Purefoy (The Following, Sex Education, Altered Carbon), Edward Hogg (Taboo, Harlots, White Lightning), Jessye Romeo (Curfew, In the Long Run), Ramon Tikaram (Brassic, The Victim) and Harriet Slater (Faunutland and the Lost Magic) would be joining the upcoming season as well.
