BAD NEWS: Guys Can't Stop Talking Like News Anchors in This Short Film

I don't know about you, but my friends and I constantly make fun of the "news anchor" voice that every journalist on television seems to drop into when they're on the air. I mean, do they teach them how to talk like that in school, or is it a vicious cycle in which they all just pick it up by being around other colleagues who talk like that?

In any case, LaughingSquid pointed me to this funny short film called Bad News from the team at Mid-Brow, in which every character can't stop talking in that very specific voice. If you like the video, I've also embedded an old classic from Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker that has a similar vibe underneath it.

LOCO Comedy Film Festival 2017 When some people are unable to switch off from work, it can be fairly noticeable. We see one particular group of friends who are suffering more than most and hear how it has even started affecting one of the group's home life.

More about the programme: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00qbyth It's the second episode of the second series and there's the usual mix of contributors, reviews and jokes as the news channels continue to provide enough rubbish to make a show out of.
