Badass Trailer For HALO: NIGHTFALL - Xbox's New Digital Feature

Xbox Studios has released the official trailer for the Ridley Scott produced digital feature Halo: Nightfall, and it looks awesome! This is a breath-taking trailer with all kinds of really cool footage that I think fans of the Halo franchise are going love. There's a lot of talent that went into developing this thing, and you can definitely see Scott's hand in telling this story.

Mike Colter plays a character named Jameson Locke, who is "a surgically-enhanced super soldier who is a rising star in a futuristic Spartan army and troubled by the military industrial complex he inhabits." The story is set between the events that took place in Halo 4 and the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians.

Halo: Nightfall is a live action series providing insight into the origin and backstory of legendary manhunter Agent Locke (Mike Colter, “The Good Wife”), a pivotal new character in the Halo universe who will play a key role in Halo 5: Guardians. A strange and treacherous world exposes elite UNSC operatives to a much deeper danger.

The digital project was directed by Sergio Mimica-Gezzan from a script written by Prison Break series creator Paul Scheuring. This comes in addition to the live-action series that Steven Spielberg is producing for Xbox One. Halo: Nightfall is set to be released on November 11th, 2014.
